karriezaiWell. We saw Wanted last night, and I really enjoyed it. As much as I enjoyed Hancock, I definitely thought Wanted was better. I loved the dialogue -- it was witty and sarcastic, for lack of a better explanation. In general it was just plain cool. The people we sat next to said it was originally a comic, which I can definitely see. There was only one majorly weird element that kind of made me go "Eh?"
All of the assassination orders came from a loom. Yeah. Not kidding. The weave of the tapestries produced certain discrepancies where a thread would go over two threads instead of just one. It was something like "If the vertical thread is on top, it's a one, on bottom it's a zero." Binary. And the binary would result in a name, and each name was a target. So yeah, messages from God in a tapestry that mean "Kill this person to keep balance in the world."
But anyway, I really did like the movie a ton. I could see tons of roleplays and fanfics springing from it, though I haven't seen any yet.
So today I need to call Hooters and potentially go over there depending on what they say. I need to go to Danny's parents' house and pay his newest traffic ticket... yeah. It's his fourth. He keeps whizzing by the traffic cams set up on little back streets. He almost got another today. By the time he hit the camera itself he was down to the speed limit so I'm hoping it's okay, but I guess it's hard to be positive.
And I want to play KH2 and write/roleplay and exercise... meh. Glad I don't work.
