Mmmmkay, so Mom and I went up to Central and turned in my registration stuff. Mrs. Simms gave us the application to PGCC, and we headed over to the campus to see what it's like and so Mom could ask a few questions about when I could come in and take the one placement test thing.
My internet has been very very spazzy for the last few minutes, so this is my reminder to myself to copy this post before I submit it... just in case my internet has a heart attack...
Anyway. I played around on myspace a little bit earlier today, joined a couple groups. I joined two martial arts groups because the first one I joined looks like I might not fit in. Got a couple of bad homophobes -- at least a couple -- and if the maintainers don't shut them up, I'm not gonna be able to stick around. I can't take that. Honestly. There's a poll and a post about how guys shouldn't be shirtless in their default pictures because 'some people aren't gay'. Man, what idiots. My response: If you aren't confident enough with your sexuality that you can't look at a shirtless guy without thinking someone might be gay, that's your problem. Don't bring it into the group. Did you ever think that maybe the shirtless picture is for the ladies, not because he's gay?
I mean... not only was the guy homophobic, he was sexist. o_O; It's okay for ladies to be shirtless, but not the guys. I mean... honestly. Growl.
Yuka and I went to job interviews, that was fun. The Starbucks manager was really friendly x] I think the interviews went pretty well. We were there on time, first ones there... and I was hardly nervous, though I did notice afterward that I'd gotten rather sweatier than I'd realized during the interview. And the guy seemed really impressed by my homeschooling and the fact that I had to manage my time and keep Cris on track. XD I guess my dad was right, huh? Scary thought.
Egan (Yuka's big bro) -- is tons of fun. He added me back on myspace, and he's hilarious. x]
I guess that's it.
