I'm going to go swipe a good novel myself -- I've been sating myself on Dreamsongs so far, (one of which, With Morning Comes Mistfall) was very good.
I'll have to look up Sanderson. Hope your entry is better than mine! Mine involved a foursome, and definitely was outta my comfort zone or interest area (though, surprise, surprise, many people praised how it wasn't fantasy ... Meh).
