karriezaiSo Danny's napping, and I'm using the time to update my LJ (only because despite the fact that he's asleep I have to watch what he wants to watch... the fuck?). Anyway, yesterday I officially got moved in to the dorms. I met my roommate from New York (briefly). Danny took the day off to help me move, and he was charismatic as usual. He and Laura ended up moving the room around to make it more space efficient. It's actually really big, really nice, for a dorm room.
I still need to reformat my laptop, but I don't know when I'll actually do it. Dad has all the software. I could theoretically burn new copies off the harddrive of the home computer, but there are things about it my dad knew that I just don't. I don't want to reinstall my computer just to have it incomplete and all but unusable. I'll probably leave it unless I can get someone else to do it; the only thing that doesn't work is iTunes, after all, and I can use Windows Media Player if I need to. However, the laptop also needs a new battery. The current one only lasts around thirty minutes.
Despite being all moved in, I stayed the night with Danny x] So my first night in the dorm will have to wait.
School starts Wednesday. Hip hip hooray!
Note since I haven't mentioned it before, apparently: I have two roommates. Joy from New York and Laura from MD. I met Laura before moving into the dorms. I talked to Joy on facebook, but didn't meet her until yesterday, and then only very briefly.
