I have an English paper to do soon. I think I'm gonna have to go to the library again for this one, but I'll check in the encyclopedias before I decide on that. I'll probably work on it slowly until I catch up on NaNo/go to the library... I may not get a proper chance to catch up until Wednesday, but hopefully I can write 3k and more today and tomorrow to make catching up a little easier. Agh, remind me not to do that again next November -- catching up is not going to be any fun.
I looked up what I need to know to get a Maryland learner's permit... the permit is easy, it's the next two steps that require work. I forget the second type of license, but it's basically a trial license... you have it a year and a half, and if your record is clean after that it's upgraded to a real license without a test or anything. But to get the 'trial' license you have to have so many hours of driving practice logged, go through a driving school type course, and of course take the driving skills test at the DMV. Blah.
I forgot the whole point of mentioning the English paper I have to do. It's about the issues of the early contemporary period. I'm supposed to pick an issue presented in some of the literature of the time. I decided that since half the poets whose work I had to read were depressed, and it showed in their writing, I'd use depression. Huh. Should be easy enough to research depression, at least, right? -shrug- Hope so.
Later.
