job hunting

God, the online application for Borders was looooong. But maybe it'll be worth it. Lol, I totally made myself seem like I could never be a leader in a group setting. I could if necessary, I think, I just don't do it naturally.

So yeah, I've been filling out job applications. I've got one for the movie theater, one for Starbucks (they were looking, I guess I can get used to the smell of coffee all the time...), one for Linens 'N' Things, and of course the Borders one. And I may pick up a few more tomorrow when I go back to turn in the three paper ones.

I've never worked before x_x; I hope someone gives me a chance. The Borders one got to see all my academic achievements and stuff, which may help. Like the USAA All-American Scholar thing I qualified for in 8th grade... honor roll, perfect attendance... and the poem and book review in the Washington Times may be good for Borders XD

I just saw a Disney World commercial, and if I ever live near one, I want to work there as one of the Disney princesses or something =o I could so be Sora XD Wrap my boobs down or wear a baggy shirt, spike up the hair/get a wig... I could totally pass for a boy, and my eyes are blue, though not HIS blue. That would be so fun, though. As long as I don't have to get in a big costume suit thing... like for Pooh or whatever. That would SUCK. The poor kiddos who dress as Bugs Bunny at Six Flags...

I'd work at Six Flags if I could get there easily, though. XD Working the game booths would be fuuuun.

They had this whole personality test thing in the online Borders app. Like... "Do you feel more comfortable by yourself?" etc. 37 pages of questions like that, maybe ten questions to a page... okay, more like seven questions a page... but yeah. Long.

I want to get a piercing or tattoo or something :( There's a place that gives you a half off discount during the month of your 18th birthday, but it isn't around here. It'd be cool if other places do that too. XD

LMAO. The Borders app was both annoying and entertaining. My favorite question was "Do slow people annoy you?"

I think I would probably die if they had a Sora at Disney World. I would probably scare whoever was dressed up as Sora... and every person in the area.

My friend just went a few weeks ago and she found a bunch of key chains that were big keys... which in our minds = key blades. XD She got a Magic Kingdom one which is our equivalent of the Kingdom Key and she bought me a PotC one aka Follow the Wind... yeah, we're that dorky.

XD If *I* was dressed up as Sora, you wouldn't scare me =o I'd be like... Yeah, I understand that. Haha. Because I'd do the same if situations were reversed. But my nose is too broad for me to be Sora. XDXD

When I say Disney I guess I'm refering to the Orlando Disney World because its the only one that I've ever been too... but you could go to Disney Land in California... I've actually heard rumors that they had Sea Salt Ice Cream there... not sure if they were on crack or not though.

The way I hear it, the sea salt ice cream is at the Disney place in Japan and that's where Nomura got the idea. Like... it was supposed to be a little in-joke put in the game, only mentioned like once, but it GREW.

Dude. Stop making your Borders application seem like a college application. They're not gonna hire you. Online application people never do. I applied at Caribou Coffee that way and they application was annoying as shit too. BTW, I would suggest only paperapplying to one place at a time because they usually call you the day after (they should say that) and then give you the interview. What if you have 3 people call you on the same day? Just drop of your fave first and then the others two days after. They should, if they're interested, call you the day after. If they don't, there's almost no chance you'll get it. DUMBASS. You're 18, be a waitress. TIPS.

Mom said it's okay to apply to as many places at once as I want. I asked her because I thought it sounded rude to do a bunch at once. XD
