.194 x downtime
6/7/08 10:55Mild hangover... heh.
Well Hooters didn't call me back. I need to call them, but at the moment it looks like I'm getting some down time this week since Starbucks only scheduled me two days. If nothing happens with Hooters I may have to pick up an extra day or two, though, so we'll see. At least today and tomorrow will probably be rest time, you know, not counting family stuffs.
The temptation to roleplay has been flaring up again. I figure, hey, it's a sort of writing. It's worth something. Plus this site is still going strong. I've just had too much disappointment roleplaying before. Either no one shows interest or when someone does it just isn't up to the level I was hoping for. I'm also really tempted to start a little forum just for mid-sized plot-based roleplays, something I've tried before but only as something incorporated into a larger forum. It's something that truly interests me and would probably interest other people too... if I could only find them. Basically each forum category would be for one plot, and each plot would be loosely outlined and contain anywhere from one to a handful of active threads. Only significant characters would participate, and each active thread would handle one facet of the plot. Say three characters are interacting in one place and four more are interacting somewhere else, that would be two active threads. When one character leaves one group to join the other, he'd also leave one active thread to join the other.
I don't guess that made much sense. Meh.
ETA I know! I could just suggest it at TUL! Maybe they could use the idea and run it way more efficiently than I ever could.
